Yep Summer is on its way. The seasons march on relentlessly. Summer follows spring as surely as winter has preceded the season we now wish gone. Personally I detest the cold weather, I never used to. I loved working outside in all weather's but now in my dotage and confined to a wheelchair I find that the cold weather disagrees with me. Which brings me back to summer and Margate. My own view is that we no longer have seasons here in Thanet. When I moved to Ramsgate almost forty years ago Thanet had a definite Summer Season but now in the twenty first century things have changed. Margate is now my home and as such most of my efforts blogging and tweeting  are to promote Thanet but primarily Margate
