Thank you Sarah S for this thoughtful donation of knitted and crocheted goodies for our homeless friends. Sarah has been busy, as you can see with knitted wonderful soft and warm hats, and crocheting cotton washcloths.
Sarah has also included rain poncho's in her donation. The orange pouches are rain poncho's. This is a great idea! Additionally she's added two large packages of socks. We're thrilled to have reached beyond our goal for socks with more coming in. Warm dry feet is the end result that many will benefit from. Even though we've reached our goal, I'm happy to see more coming in. Our sock Donations over the last couple of years have diminished, thus the lower goal...so with reaching and surpassing that goal, we'll be able to raise our goal for next year.
Many thanks for your generous donation Sarah, please keep up the good work. And extra thanks for tagging your hats with size, really helps the volunteers at the shelters. And I like to ask how you made you hats, there's double and so nice and warm. Are they made like a tube somehow?
