All are invited to join King County Parks’ Volunteer Program in improving forest health in White Center parks this winter.
- On Saturday mornings – rain or shine – volunteers will be removing noxious weeds and planting native trees and shrubs.
- People of all ages are welcome and organizers provide all necessary tools, supplies, and snacks!
- They’ll also teach you everything you need to know to have a safe, fun, and educational experience.
- Organizers will be out at White Center Heights Parks, Dick Thurnau Memorial Park, Glendale Forest, and North Shorewood Park.
- For specific dates, times and locations, check out their Event Registration Portal:

Check back often as more public events are posted throughout the year.
“Hope to see you out in White Center!”
