FREE Nature Activities for Youth at Roxhill Park during month of August

FREE Nature Activities for Youth will be held at Roxhill Park during the month of August, 2022.

Free lunch and snacks for youth age 18 and younger (do not need to be a Seattle resident).

Aug. 3, Wednesday: 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. – Fun with Plants
Roxhill Park, 2850 SW Roxbury St, Seattle, WA 98126
Explore the wonderful world of our local native plants, learn about how Native Tribes used them, their importance to wildlife and take a plant home with a special pot that you decorate. Free lunch & snacks are offered for anyone age 18 or younger. Hosted by Delridge Neighborhood Development Assn & Duwamish Alive Coalition in partnership with Seattle Parks and the Free Lunch Parks program.

Aug. 4, Thursday: 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. – More Fun with Plants

Meet your furry or feathered neighbors -Join in fun activities about the wildlife living in your community. Did you know beavers, bald eagles, foxes, heron all live near you. Play games, hear stories and do art and nature activities.
