Man who died of overdose in Burien City Hall/Library bathroom has been identified

The man who was found dead in a bathroom at Burien City Hall/Library on Saturday, April 20, 2024 has been identified by the King County Examiner’s Office as Eddie Christopher Andrade, 35.

Police said the victim was found unresponsive inside the first-floor men’s room Bathroom at 6:01 p.m. Saturday night.

Coroners said that Andrade died of “acute combined drug intoxication including fentanyl and methamphetamine.”

The recent loss of Andrade – the third in a short span linked to fentanyl and meth – leaves a heavy heart in our community.

We offer our deepest condolences to all who knew and loved him.
