On Sunday night, Mar. 10, 2024 at around 9:03 p.m., King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) 911 Communications Center received a call about a stabbing that injured a 2-year old and man in the 11300 block of 26th Ave S. at the Veranda Green Apartments (map below).
Burien Police, along with SeaTac Police and KCSO Deputies responded.
After arrival, a male in his early 40’s was located and treated at the scene for life-threatening injuries. That male victim was taken to a local hospital.
Also located was a 2-year-old child with non life-threatening injuries. That child was also taken to a local hospital.
Police said that a male suspect in this early 40’s was located a short time later and is now in custody.
King County Major Crimes Detectives are on scene to investigate this incident and what led up to the event.
As this is an active investigation, no other details were released.
