Maureen Hoffmann had a nice walk on the trail and the beach earlier this week, and was amused by the “Seven Silly Sea Lions” she saw lounging on an old wooden “raft” not far from the shoreline, just north of Three Tree Point.

“At first I thought they were sandbags,” she told us.

But they weren’t, so she snapped these great photos:
