UPDATE 1:10 p.m.: Power has been restored to all but 100 customers, with restorationg estimated for those by 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12.
The original Outage knocked our electricity for 4,081 Seattle City Light customers.
City Light said the outage started at 11:32 a.m.
Cause of the outage is unknown as of 11:59 a.m.
UPDATE 12:25 p.m.: While it’s unconfirmed as the cause by City Light, the outage may have originated with this “arcing, smoking or downed power lines” incident where a tree fell on some lines on 21st Ave SW & SW 146th Street in Seahurst, reported at 11:35 a.m.:
According to the agency’s outage map, electricity was out from the Seahurst area on the south, up nearly to South Park on the northeast side.
Estimated restoration time is 3 p.m. on Oct. 12.
