If you heard/saw Guardian One – the King County Sheriff’s Office helicopter – circling over Burien’s Three Tree Point neighborhood Thursday morning, June 22, 2023, police say it was because they were assisting in the search of a reported missing diver.
Luckily, the diver was found alive and well.
Guardian One’s low-flying visit over the area lasted between 10-20 minutes, and as can be seen via the screenshot from FlightAware below, circled over both the north and south beaches several times:
