Burien landlord sentenced to over 46 years in prison for murdering, dismembering 2 tenants

Burien landlord Michael Lee Dudley, 65, was sentenced to over 46 years in prison on Friday, April 7, 2023, for murdering and dismembering two tenants.

Dudley was sentenced to 46 years and eight months in prison for murdering Jessica Lewis, 35, and Austin Wenner, 27, then dismembering their bodies and attempting to dispose of their remains in suitcases that were found near Alki Beach in 2020.

As we previously reported, Dudley was formally charged with two counts of Murder in the Second Degree by the King County Prosecutor’s Office in August, 2020. Seattle Police detectives arrested Dudley at a residence located near Ambaum Blvd. S. and S. 168th in Burien.

He was found guilty of four counts of second-degree murder in December, 2022.

This was after a very grisly discovery of the remains in suitcases that had washed ashore near Duwamish Head on Alki Beach in June, 2020 by teenagers who called 911 after recording a TikTok post (video below).
