Volunteers are needed to help restore Miller and Walker Creeks on both Saturday, May 14 and June 4:

Walker Preserve Restoration
The next volunteer forest restoration event will be held Saturday, May 14 at Walker Preserve. Please join me and your neighbors to continue the work that has been done by previous volunteers since 2008 to clear the forest of invasive English ivy and other weeds, preserving the creek, native forest, and their fish and wildlife inhabitants. Then, on June 4, please join us at Miller Creek in Burien, along the 144th Street Trail!

No experience is necessary, and coffee, gloves, and tools are provided!  Please RSVP so we can plan for tools and refreshments!
