Cassidy Huff raising money for service dog, will perform fundraiser Jan. 12

South King Media Columnist Cassidy Huff, 16, has been an advocate and do-gooder in her community for years, first coming to our attention when she held a fundraiser to purchase iPads for special needs students at Sylvester Middle School in 2015.

She was even honored with as Burien’s ‘Citizen of the Year‘ for 2016, and has served as a Columnist for our blogs for over three years.

But now it’s Cassidy’s turn to ask her community for help. She has a rare genetic condition that has resulted in her having over 40+ surgeries in her young life, and she needs a service dog to become more independent.

So she has organized a fundraiser to help her bring ‘Pepper’ home, to be held on Saturday, Jan. 12 in Federal Way!

Join us for an evening of music and fun with Cassidy Huff and her musician friends. With performances by Levi Ware, Jon Yoon, Sarah Emerson, and many more, Seattle Children’s Ambassador and Radio Free Agent, BENDER, signature drinks, VIP packages, and a silent auction, it is sure to be a night to remember! Come join us!
