Kolkata Knight Riders will meet Punjab Kings in match 45 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 on Friday, October 1, at Dubai International Stadium.  KKR are ranked fourth with 10 points in the table and will look to retain their position in the top half, while PBKS, with just two points, will be desperate to win its remaining three matches.

The last match before the double-headers is going to be the battle between two young Indian sensations, KKR’s Venkatesh Iyer’s and Punjab Kings’ Ravi Bishnoi.  Knights all-rounder Venkatesh has caught everyone’s attention with his fearless strokeplay against genuine pace but Bishnoi’s wrist spin has troubled the best in the business during the last two editions.

Chris Gayle won't be available for PBKS' remaining IPL 2021 matches and as it looks like Moises Henriques should get his first match in the UAE leg of IPL 2021.  The intensity of the contest is expected to be high at the Ring of Fire in Dubai.
