West Bengal Election 2021: Almost 80 percent polling recorded in 8th phase
The eighth and last phase of voting for West Bengal Election 2021 took place today. Voting took place in 35 Legislative Assembly seats in 4 districts.

Election 2021 took place today. Voting took place in 35 Legislative Assembly Seats in 4 districts.
There was a lot of enthusiasm among the people about voting. In the morning, people were seen queuing up at the polling booth following coronavirus protocols. Till 5 pm, 76 percent voting was done.
A total of 283 candidates were in the fray in this phase, of which 35 were women. Voting was carried out in this phase from seven in the morning to six in the evening, following strict coronavirus rules.
This phase includeed 6 seats in Malda, 11 in Birbhum, 11 in Murshidabad and seven seats in Kolkata North. The election is believed to be the main contest between the ruling TMC, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress-Left-ISL alliance.

Manikchak, Malda, Mothabari, Sujapur, Vaishnabnagar, Khargram, Burwan, Kandi, Bharatpur, Resinagar, Beldanga, Barhampur, Hariharpara, Nauda, Domkal, Jalangi, Chowringhee, Baleghata, Jodasanko, Shyampukur, Maniktala, Kashipur Belagachia, Dobrajpur, Dobrajpur Birbhum, Nanur, Labpur, Sainthia, Mayureshwar, Rampurhat, Hansan, Nalhati, Murarai.
TMC, Congress strongholds went to polls today
