Rajasthan: Speeding trailer crushes over dozen people in Jaipur, 3 killed

A speeding trailer overturned late Tuesday evening on the Delhi Bypass Road in Jaipur, causing havoc.

A Speeding Trailer Overturned late Tuesday evening on the Delhi Bypass Road in Jaipur, causing havoc.

In the accident, 3 people including 2 bike riders died due to the grip of the truck, while more than a dozen were crushed. The incident took place at the Bengali Baba Ashram Circle at Dhobi Ghat turn in Brahmapuri area. When people looked on the road, they reported to the police and ambulance.

At around 7 pm, the high speed trailer was going from Transport Nagar in Jaipur towards Delhi. Rice cuts (sacks) were filled in it. Due to the high speed at Dhobighat turn, the trailer overturned uncontrollably. During the accident, the passengers were standing at the bus stand at Dhobighat turn waiting for buses. Thankfully, none of them suppressed it.

Three people including two people riding a bike were killed after being hit by the truck. After the accident, the police present at the scene informed the control room. Police removed the cuts with the help of local people from the scene. 

Due to this incident, there was a traffic jam in the lane going from Jaipur to Delhi. Vehicles were diverted from Ramgarh diversion towards Amer Road and proceeded towards Delhi.
