In this high-voltage conclave, the young and budding stars of Bollywood will be acknowledged on News24's Jashn-e Youngistan platform. Felicitations galore for popular categories like Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Comedian, Rising Star of the Year, Popular Singer etc.  

Youth from the field of politics, business, arts, literature, media and many other fields will be applauded and felicitated. This year will also see a special award for the Sportsperson of the year. 1. Anant Goenka

There is a huge responsibility on these tender shoulders and looks may be deceiving. At a tender age of 29, Anant Goenka is heading one of the most reliable and huge Indian media houses, The Indian Express. The frankness, fearlessness and dynamism of this promising youth reflect well in all verticals of this media group. Goenka's digital strategy has put the Indian Express Group website firmly among the top three news sites in the country.

Goenka joined the Indian Express Group in 2012, taking charge of the digital media division and has made major strides in just six years. Goenka is executive director of the Indian Express Group and son of Indian Express Group Chairman Viveck Goenka.

2. Lt Col Mitali Madhumita

Madhumita joined the army in the year 2000. She was part of the Army Education Corps and served in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Lieutenant Colonel Mitali Madhumita received the Sena Medal in 2011 for the exemplary courage shown during the attack on the Indian embassy by terrorists in Kabul, Afghanistan on 26 February 2010. She saved many precious lives and the tales of her valour were recited in Indian households.

3. Sub Inspector(BSF) Stanzin Noryang

The courage and valour of this biker will leave you shocked and when you recover you can't stop admiring the lady. In the year 2014, she joined BSF as a Sub-Inspector. After completing one-year basic training, she got posted to Samba district, Jammu for almost two years.  In October 2016, she joined the daredevil team, the women biker contingent of BSF. 

Today she is an inspiration for many young Ladakhi girls. Riding a 350 cc Royal Enfield Bullet Bike and displaying acrobatics and daredevil stunts was an example to the entire women folk that anything and everything is possible for you.

4. Prakash Ranjan Mishra

Only the name of IPS officer Prakash Ranjan Mishra is like a bad dream for Naxalites. The police officer of Jharkhand Police has wiped out more than 100 Naxalites till now.

IPS officer Prakash Ranjan Mishra is posted in one of the most sensitive and Naxal-affected districts of the country. After Assam, Tripura, Jammu and Kashmir and Odisha, he is posted in Jharkhand. He is on deputation in the state. He has also worked for Cobra battalion for four years in the CRPF.

5. Amit Panghal

Amit Panghal is boxing his success and with style and panache.

Indian amateur boxer Amit Panghal won a gold medal at 2018 Asian Games and a bronze medal at the 2017 Asian Amateur Boxing Championships in the light flyweight category.

In February 2018, Panghal won the gold medal at the Strandzha Cup in Sofia. In September 2018, Panghal won a gold medal in 2018 Asian Games, defeating 2016 Rio Olympics' gold medallist Hasanboy Dusmatov. On 11th September 2018, Panghal was nominated for the Arjuna awards.

6. Dutee Chand

Dutee Chand needs no introduction for any Indian. Dutee Chand is a professional sprinter and current national champion in the women’s 100 metres event. She holds the record of the third Indian woman to ever qualify for the Women’s 100 metres event at the Summer Olympic Games. Chand clinched silver in women’s 100m at the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games. It was the first silver medal in this category after 32 years since P.T.Usha won in 1986 and India’s first medal in 20 years in this event since 1998 and Chand’s first medal in Asian games.

Since Saraswati Saha’s gold in 2002 at Busan, Chand's 200 m silver medal was after 16 years for India. She clinched two bronze medals at the 2017 Asian Athletics Championships at Bhubaneswar. Her success encouraged many women in the country to take up athletics as a career.

7. Manika Batra

Manika Batra is an award-winning sports star who has many feathers in her illustrious cap. India's star Tennis player Manika Batra is the first Indian woman to bag a commonwealth table tennis individual gold medal in CWG. On April 2018, she topped the rank of female table tennis player in India and ranked 58th in the world. The 23-year-old Arjuna Award winner has won two gold, one silver and one bronze medal in the 2018 Commonwealth Games, besides the historic bronze medal in the Asian Games mixed team event. She is the only Indian woman player in the top 100.

In 2015 Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships, Manika won three medals, two silvers and one bronze. In 2016 once again Manika won three medals at the South Asian Games.

In 2018 Commonwealth games, Manika Batra became 1st Indian woman to bag a commonwealth table tennis individual gold medal in CWG 2018 by beating Yu Mengyu of Singapore.

8. Amar Tulsiyan

Amar Tulsiyan is a man who dared to break all taboos and went beyond the conventions and the oft-trodden path. Amar Tulsiyan discusses the importance of menstrual hygiene management as well as the need to tackle the stigma associated with menstruation during “Adolescent Girls’ Health” panel. 

Inspired by the harrowing story of one of the many girls across India without access to hygienic sanitary products, Amar Tulsiyan launched the Niine Movement -  an ambitious five-year plan aimed at raising awareness of the importance of menstrual hygiene and the urgent need to tackle the taboos associated with menstruation.

9.  Dr Mandeep Singh Basu

Dr Mandeep Singh Basu a ray of light for the sightless. He is a name to reckon with in alternative medicines. When allopathy rules the roost, here comes a youth who rejuvenates trust in Indian's age-old therapy of cure, the Ayurveda.

Basu is a visionary young man full of enthusiasm and zeal which attracts one towards him. Dr Mandeep Singh Basu promoted Ayurveda and its benefits for human society. Dr Mandeep Singh Basu always thought of a company dedicated to super quality herbal eye solutions developed by using innovative solutions. Dr Basu has the vision to eliminate blindness from the world he wants to run campaign same as Polio Campaign. He has been organizing eye camps on a regular basis to help the people who unable to get proper medication due to financial issues.

10. Ragini Shankar and Nandini Shankar

 Ragini Shankar and Nandini Shankar are accomplished Indian violinists who perform Hindustani Classical Music and Fusion. Nandini She began her training at the age of 3 and gave her first public performance as an 8-year-old. She gave her first full-fledged solo performance at the age of 13. Ragini began her training at the age of 4 and gave her first public performance as an 11-year-old. She plays the violin in the Gayaki Ang.

Their grandmother M Rajam's research has brought a new dimension to the Hindustani violin tradition, and has won her numerous awards as well as the nickname the “singing violin”. She has passed down her art to her daughter Sangeeta Shankar, and to her granddaughters, Ragini Shankar and Nandini Shankar.

11. Vyshnavie Yagnesh

Classical dancer Vyshnavie Yagnesh has a dancing foot and literally has spring in her feet. This accomplished Bharat Natyam dancer has taken her talent and primary lessons in dance from the dancing queen and her mother who is also a famous Bharatnatyam dancer Rajeshwari Sainath.

12. Amish Tripathi

Amish Tripathi needs no introduction as words speak in volumes for this accomplished author. Benaras-born-Mumbai-based man is redefining the way young Indians look at mythology. Amish is the author of fastest selling book series, the Shiva Trilogy, in the history of Indian publishing. After completing his MBA from IIM-Kolkata, he worked for a few years as a banker before venturing into writing in early 2004. And today he is considered as one of the most bankable authors of Indian English writer who has a fan base pan-India and beyond.

13. Palak Muchhal

Palak Muchchal is a popular singer and attained immense name and fame at a very young age. When Palak was barely 21 years old, she registered her name in the Guinness Book of World Records and Limca Book of World Records for her social work. Apart from mesmerising everyone with her melodious voice, Palak makes sure to remain involved in charitable work. 

Palak has several achievements in her kitty including Stardust Award for Best Female Playback Singer for the title track of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in 2015, Lions Favourite Singer of The Decade and Best Singer in Lions Gold Awards among others.

14. Ankit Tiwari

Kanpur boy Ankit Tiwari was a whiff of fresh air in Bollywood, which was beginning to get obsolete and jaded. His intense and soul-touching voice became the talk of the town very soon. Ankit began his career in the Film industry when he was offered to compose music for Do Dooni Chaar. His song "Sunn Raha Hai" from Aashiqui 2 earned him huge popularity and overnight he became a singing sensation.  

The song was a success and soon Ankit became a household name. Ankit's early two releases "Sunn Raha Hai" and "Aag Ka Dariya" represent his "young energetic and strong vocals" which was well received by the critics. He grew up listening to his mother practise for her live performances and probably derived his inspiration from her to be a singer.

15.  Shashank Khaitan

A promising young writer-director Shashank Khaitan aptly defines the adage 'Morning Shows the Day'. Despite many successful films tucked in his belt at the early stages of his career, the promising young director has a long way to go.  Recently he impressed everyone with his film Dhadak which was the Hindi remake of award-winning Marathi blockbuster Sairat.

 Shashank has carved a niche of his own in the Bollywood industry with films like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. The film writer and director's work earned him a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Director. At the small age of just 17, Shashank decided to pursue a career in entertainment and soon he moved to Mumbai to turn his dreams into reality. Since then there is no looking back for this young director.

16. Zaira Wasim

Zaira Wasim is an Indian film teen actress who has earned immense popularity at such a young age. Zaira made her acting debut with the blockbuster biographical sports drama Dangal and followed with a starring role in the musical drama Secret Superstar. Both the films rank among the highest-grossing Indian films of all time. 

Wasim's acclaimed portrayal of an Indian sportswoman Geeta Phogat in Dangal won her the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress and a headstrong aspiring singer in Secret Superstar won her the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress. Zaira was honoured with the National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement by Ram Nath Kovind.

17. Kartik Aaryan

Kartik Aaryan is every youth's hero. His looks, his mannerism, the films he chooses....everything strikes a chord with the youth of the country. Won't be an exaggeration to call him the country's national hero.

Kartik Aaryan has appeared in many successful Hindi films. Kartik was born and raised in Gwalior and later on, he relocated to Navi Mumbai to pursue an engineering degree in biotechnology. At the same time, Kartik dabbled in modelling and made attempts to start a career in film.

 After a struggle of three years, Aaryan made his acting debut in 2011 with super hit film Pyaar Ka Punchnama. Apart from acting in films, Aaryan is also the brand ambassador for the cream Emami Fair And Handsome and the body spray Envy1000. In 2016, he became a member of the All Stars Football Club, which organises football matches for charity.

18. Aparshakti Khurrana

Promising Aparshakti Khurrana is a successful Indian radio jockey, actor, cricket anchor, and television host. He is the younger brother of actor Ayushmann Khurrana. Aparshakti made his acting debut with biographical sports drama Dangal. He hosted the show You Have Been Warned on Discovery Channel India. 

Aparshakti has hosted the Indian Premier League and is currently hosting web show Bigg Buzz. Khurrana was born in Chandigarh and completed his schooling and undergraduate studies from Chandigarh. He was also the sports captain at school and captained the Haryana U-19 cricket team.

19. Sunil Grover

Sunil Grover needs no introduction as he ensures that every common man in the country wears a smile, forgetting his stress and failures. Sunil Grover is a successful Indian actor and stands up comedian. Sunil gained popularity after his portrayal as Gutthi on Comedy Nights with Kapil but became a household name after he played the role of Dr Mashoor Gulati on The Kapil Sharma Show. Sunil Grover was born in a Punjabi family of Mandi Dabwali, a small town of Sirsa, Haryana. 

His father was a bank manager. Slowly but surely he is now taking bigger strides in Bollywood. He completed his graduation from Guru Nanak College. He received Master's degree in Theatre from Panjab University Chandigarh. Sunil was always interested in acting and right from his childhood days he used to mimic his teachers.

20. Ambati Rayudu

 Indian cricketer and a right-handed batsman Ambati Thirupathi Rayudu doesn't need any introduction. Born on 23 September 1985 in Andhra Pradesh, Rayudu started his career playing at the Under-16 and Under-19 levels for Hyderabad in the late 1990s.

Rayudu led India's Under-19 team at the 2004 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup as a captain. Rayudu participated in the 'rebel' Indian Cricket League in 2007 which resulted in a ban on him from Indian domestic cricket. Meanwhile, in 2009, the BCCI granted amnesty to the player, allowing him to come back to Indian domestic cricket. Rayudu returned to play for Hyderabad in 2009 but later before the 2010–11 season Rayudu decided to play for Baroda.

Rayudu was signed up by the Mumbai Indians for IPL 2010 season. Seeing his good performance once again Mumbai signed him for the fourth season in 2011. He was also one of the five retained players by the Mumbai franchise in 2014. In 2012, Rayudu was named in the Indian squad for the first time, after showing strong performances for Baroda in domestic cricket and Mumbai Indians in the IPL. He made his international debut on 24 July 2013, in an ODI against Zimbabwe. He scored 63 and became the 12th Indian batsman to score a half-century on ODI debut. In November 2018, Rayudu announced his retirement from first-class cricket, to focus on limited-overs cricket.

21. Parth Jindal

Parth Jindal is an Indian businessman. He is the heir to the JSW Group of companies, with interests in steel, energy, cement, infrastructure, and sports. He is the Managing Director of JSW Cement, he is currently spearheading JSW Cement’s rapid growth so as to emerge as a key player in the sector by 2020. At a young age, Parth has made many feats and is a promising entrepreneur.

22.  Taapsee Pannu

A very talented Tapsee Pannu appeals as the girl-next-door to her fans which makes her an endearing star.

Taapsee Pannu is known for her work in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi films. The actress has achieved great popularity in a short span of time. Taapsee worked as a software professional and pursued a career in modelling before becoming an actress. During her modelling days, Taapsee featured in a number of commercials. 

Taapsee made her acting debut with the 2010 Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam. And, since then she appeared in a number of critically acclaimed films such as Aadukalam, Vastadu Naa Raju and Mr Perfect. Her Tamil film Aadukalam won six National Film Awards at the 58th National Film Awards. She was awarded 'Most Enthusiastic Performer-Female Award' at the 2014 Edison Awards for her performance in the Tamil film Arrambam. Taapsee impressed many with her performance in films like Pink, The Ghazi Attack, Judwaa 2 among others.

23.  Ayushmann Khurrana

Ayushmann Khurana is a common man's hero, acting in films which deal with issues which a common man deals within his day-to-day life. This is his strength and this has made him endearing with the common man who sees his reflection in this highly talented actor. And he has become a highly bankable star on box-office with these off-beat films which makes him one of the favourite actors for the producers in present times.

Ayushmann Khurrana's last film Badhaai Ho has already become a super hit and the film has done huge business at the box office. Khurrana has now established himself successfully in the film industry with comedies like Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Badhaai Ho, and the thriller Andhadhun. When it comes to defining his career, he can be termed as a successful actor, poet, singer and television host. The actor is the recipient of several awards, including two Filmfare Awards. We hope to see him in many more successful films in the coming time.

24. Kareena Kapoor Khan

Kareena Kapoor Khan needs no introduction, and a diva she certainly is. She has ruled the roost in Bollywood and on her own terms and has been a trendsetter in all that she does. Be it a glamorous role or a serious one, she's been unparallel. Her weight, her relationship, her marriage, her motherhood...everything has made a headline. And not to forget her son Taimur who often features on the trend charts and has already emerged a star at such a small age.

 The actress has delivered many hits in the Bollywood industry ever since she made her debut with Refugee. The actress has wowed her scores of fans with her superb fashion sense.  After a two-year absence from the screen, Kareena returned with a bang with the film Veere Di Wedding. Kareena's pictures trend quite frequently on the social media and the actress has emerged an inspiration for many all over India.

25.  Devendra Fadnavis

The journey to big achievements started at the tender age of 22 when he became a corporator, then went on to become a Mayor of Nagpur at 27, and now at 44, he is the chief minister of an important state like Maharashtra. One can well think the road ahead will have many milestones for this promising politician.

26. Martyr Aurangzeb Khan

The brave and zealous son of the Indian soil, who was looking into the eyes of death with his piercing eyes as he breathed his last fighting for the nation, martyr Aurangzeb Khan's name will be written in the history of India with equal pride and regard. 

Aurangzeb was reportedly a close aide of an army officer who led the team that killed Sameer Tiger and part of the team that carried out the encounter that killed the hardcore Hizbul militant. In May last year, a young, unarmed army officer was kidnapped by terrorists while he was attending a family wedding. His bullet-ridden body was found the next day.
