As I mentioned to you before, I was definitely part of the Future Primitive Community (along with all the other reknown SF-based party communities of that era). However, the Invisbl Skratch Piklz enjoyed a prominence, within the scene, unlike any other in the Bay (and the world for that matter) [the only other comparable crew, at the time, was the X-Men in NYC].

So, no, obviously I was not at any of the earlier parties your research seems to focus on; but, evidently, those early events were the blueprint for the Broader Turntablist party scene of the late 90’s/early 2000’s, which definitely gave me a(n ethnically and creatively) broader hip-hop community experience than we were accustomed to “back east”.
