Under the Current situation that we have in the united states, there is a divided portion of the population that is not inclined to Vote. Some of the reasons that have caused this situation is that our rights as citizens have been pushed and not continually in line with what we call a free democratic government that allows us to decide how it is set up. The government has made it so that the rights we have to vote are not enough. The current understanding that most American have is that even we can vote to decide how things are run we are limited by different methods of changing who is Voting and who is able. The tactics that they use to change the voting outcome is to use gerrymandering, voter roll purges, and precinct closures to alter the vote. The electoral college that has been created to make every state vote equal has made it so that the past few elections go in a different direction.  The direction that these states have gone through have made it so that the voting process cannot be trusted and that the ones in power are the ones that need to make a change. The current voting situation is really just modernized Jim crow laws that have been used to eliminate the minority. The minority that makes up most of the ones that are being suppressed are the ones that fill the jobs that Americans will not do and there are going to be problems when more and more of them are being discarded. The change in work force will cripple the economy and other aspects of the American lifestyle and so the time for change that we are upon needs to happen and by voting has become a very limited way of doing so we must send the message that there needs to be something done. The decision that are being made at the higher levels that need to be informed that the voting statistics is not always right and they need to look at the masses to see that there is a problem. We can show that problem by protesting and getting out there and sending the message to others.
