I love it when Hillary calls him ‘Donald.’ It’s so diminutive, so everyday, nothing special, like the Donald next door, except worse, not neighborly at all but spoiled, arrogant and egotistical.

‘Donald’ is not just a put down, no offense to all the other Donalds, but it’s strategically correct. Trump is his brand. Every time some one says or thinks ‘Trump’, they’re re-enforcing his brand. Donald is just Donald, not a brand.

Along the same lines, to hold her Supporters and reach Donald’s supporters, it’s useless for Hillary to argue issues or cite ‘unity’ or ‘compassion’. These unfortunately do not resonate with Donald’s supporters. They’re for punishment, especially when Blacks break the law.

What will hold Hillary’s supporters and make Donald’s think twice, is to point out his lies about his business practices. Harp on that. Chapter Eleven. Charts and graphic showing how Donald’s so called successes compare to real successes. ‘Is this the kind of behavior you want as President?’

Then there’s the BS slogan, “Make America Great Again.” We’ve never not been great! Yes there are many serious problems, but these can be dealt with, would have been dealt with if the Republicans had not blocked Obama from day one. The facts show that it’s the Republicans, the Party of No, that has kept people down and accelerated income inequality for the last eight years, and the Bush years before that.

How sad that the very people that would benefit most from a functioning Federal Government, want to destroy that government. How sad that the phrase, “I’m from Washington and I’m here to help,” became a laugh line and so deeply imbedded in American culture. How can the people who hate the Federal Government be reached?

It’s important that we do reach them, because just as democracy ran amok in England and in the Republican primaries, and across Europe, it can run amok in the USA and the Donald Administration with his sexy daughter as Secretary of State will be running things.
