Answers :-

1.2; All cars are petrol + No petrol is a bus (A + E = E)= No
car is a bus + all buses are cycles (E + A = O)= Some
cycles are not cars. Hence I does not follow. But No
petrol is a bus + All buses are cycles = Some cycles
are not petrol. This leaves us with the possibility of II.

2.5; A + E = E So, I follows we also get some cycles
are not Cars. This leaves the possibility of II

3.2; I + A = I. Hence, some white are pagers + All
pagers are fax = some white are fax. This leaves
us with the possibility of II.

4.1; Some motors are machines (I) - No machine is a triangle
(E) = I + E = O = Some motars are not triangles. Hence,
Conclusion I follows Again, No generators is a motor
(E) + Some motars are machines (I) = E + I = O = Some
machines are not generators. Hence conclusion II does
not follow.

5.4; Some motars are machines (I) + No machine is a triangle
(E) = (I) + (E) = O = Some motars is a triangles. Hence,
conclusion I does not follow. Again, No generator is a
motor (E) + Some motars are machines (I) = E + I = O =
Some machines are not generators. Hence, conclusion
II does not follow.

7.5; None of the options proves that how many males in a family.
