We’ve got some very exciting news to share: 360 Industrial Movers has merged with C&D Logistics, creating one of the most dynamic, experienced logistics companies in the Lower Mainland.
The merger, which became official on October 1st, matches 360’s unrivalled industrial rigging and moving capabilities with the extensive network and industry-leading operational capabilities of C&D Logistics.
Fueling growth
This merger is all about growth, synergies and the old adage that 1 + 1 really can equal 3. As Dana Matheson, President and CEO of C&D puts it, “Our companies can really feed off of each other. There’s a lot of room for growth and an opportunity to expand the market share on the rigging side. We’ll be introducing a lot of our systems as a way to service 360’s customers.”
Together, we’ll be able to offer new, closely integrated services and a larger reach. Our combined resources will also allow for the purchase of more equipment – we like to think of it as getting a few more tools for our tool belt!
Most importantly, though, all of this will add up to better service for our customers.
More services, better service
360 customers can rest assured that we’ll continue to deliver the best industrial rigging and moving services in the business – that will never change. What will change – for the better – is the operational and administrative capabilities that support the services we offer.
C&D brings some very sophisticated systems to the table, which will give us the ability to offer real-time tracking, quick quotes on rigging, crane work and trucking jobs, and access to over 20,000 carriers. This means that 360 can not only offer better service, supported on the back end by C&D’s systems, but also provide a broader spectrum of services.
In the coming months the 360 and C&D teams will be working closely together to make sure the transition to single, streamlined business goes as smoothly as possible.
