Me: “It’s fairly usually self evident but let’s check the City Map. We just need to get to a computer and have a look. It’s pretty quick and easy. If there is any doubt for any reason we can get a survey done but I have found The City of Nanaimo’s map to be quite useful.”

www.nanaimo.ca is the website that is run by our municipal government,  It’s the place for all kinds of useful information about things Nanaimo and I wanted to highlight the “Nanaimomap” as they call it. This is a handy tool forhaving a look at all sorts of details about the layout of Nanaimo in a broader sense but also for very Specific things like lot lines and slopes and zoning and all kinds of things that people are regularly asking me about. It’s really quite an impressive thing, as there is such a wide variety of settings and things to view, it makes google maps look plain by comparison.
