For the fifth consecutive year since befriending a young Crohns victim, 2007-08 PBA Rookie of the Year Rhino Page will return to Levittown, N.Y., this weekend to join young Tyler Cacioppo’s family in raising money aimed at finding a cure for the debilitating disease.

The 5th annual Rhino Page & Friends Lace Up to Strike Out Crohns & Colitis fundraiser will be held on Saturday, September 26 as part of the Strike Out Crohns & Colitis Eastern Open regional tournament. Since the event’s inception, it has raised more than $100,000 to help in research to find a cure for the inflammatory bowel diseases.

For information on how you can support the special event, visit www.strikeoutcrohns.com, send an e-mail note to [email protected], look for Rhino Page & Friends Lace Up to Strike Out Crohns & Colitis on Facebook, or visit the PBA East Region section on pba.com.
