TPP (Thermal Protective Performance): Exceeds 60! TPP measures the amount of heat transfer through the glove materials. Minimum Tpp Rating required by the NFPA is 35. The FireCraft® Protector has a TPP rating in excess of 60.
Conductive Heat Resistance: Exceeds 30 seconds WET AND DRY! Minimum NFPA 1971 requirements for the entire back of the hand are: time to pain, 6 seconds; time to 2nd degree burn, 10 seconds. The FireCraft® Protector provides at least 30 seconds. And the big news is this: the 30-second exposure was measured both WET AND DRY.
