Florock Hurricane Hits Southeast!

A powerful new force is overtaking the Southeastern U.S., as Florock intensifies its presence in the area. Jay Bruce, a veteran of the industry, joined the Florock Sales Team last July – in the height of hurricane season!

Having hit the ground running, he’s already tearing up the territory. Constantly in motion, driving to see the next concrete floor or to meet with customers about their epoxy floor coating and resurfacer needs, Bruce took a few precious moments (in the eye of the storm?) to chat. His enthusiasm was palpable as we discussed his recent career decision. Charged with improving service to existing Florock customers in the region, as well as introducing new contractors to the line, the energetic Sales Rep says he’s very pleased with his choice.

What makes Florock different? In addition to the consistently high quality concrete floor coating products like FloroCrete, Floropoxy and Florothane, the home office support and marketing program are what stand out, according to Bruce. Florock is “very contractor-oriented”, putting significant resources into finding real flooring jobs for installer customers. The new team member finds everyone at headquarters “very friendly and eager to help out.” And there’s “no voice mail -- you always get to talk to a real person!”

That’s something almost unheard of among other concrete flooring manufacturers, the majority of which are now part of large conglomerates. Bruce should know, having worked for a floor coatings competitor that got swept into the recent whirlwind of corporate mergers. From the sound of it, he doesn’t miss wading through big company “red tape” every time he needs “a simple shipping confirmation.” Bruce says it’s the opposite at Florock: “The office contacts me when something’s shipped!”

And how do the customers see it? “The contractors are very receptive”, says Bruce. “They’re all small business people and appreciate the fact that Florock is a small business, too. Everyone loves the customer service.”

With his eye on success and the wind at his back, Jay Bruce’s forecast with Florock is certainly bright!

Now, if only the region’s hurricanes were so predictable…
