Description :

At least 4 years of experience in Medical device product development
Execution of NPD process phases as per ISO 13485 Quality system regulation and ISO 14971 Risk Management.
Maintenance of DHF and DMR files.
Product design considering regulatory requirements for CE marking
Diploma in Plastic Mold Technology will be added advantage.

Design and Development of Electro-Mechanical Medical device product.
Develop and deliver product design from concept to prototype
3D CAD Modelling
Product design for DFM / DFA.
2D Drafting, applying GD&T and performing tolerance stack up analysis.
Sound understanding of electromechanical systems and their functions.
Design & development of electro-mechanical & mechanical systems or components with focus on safety, economy, reliability, sustainability and quality.
Responsible for prototype testing and design transfer to production.
Innovative Industrial design concepts for Hand held devices using Surface CAD modelling.
Ergonomics design and applicable standards for Hand held medical devices.
Rapid prototyping techniques for mockup presentation of the design.
Mold and tool design for Plastics parts and design of Plastic parts enclosures.
Coordination with Supplier and tool maker to ensure delivery of quality parts.
Design of Jigs and Fixture for assembly.
CAD Tools: ProE / Solid works
