Oxnard Embezzlement Attorney

When you face charges for work-related theft of funds, hire an experienced embezzlement attorney like Robert Helfend. Mr. Helfend has more than 30 years of experience in criminal defense. He takes cases in Ventura County and throughout Southern California.

Most theft victims want their money returned. That is often more important to them than seeing someone go to jail. The state, however, has a serious interest in preventing the abuse of vulnerable adults. An experienced Criminal Defense Attorney will work aggressively to get the charges against his client reduced or dropped. When that’s not possible, the attorney will work toward the best possible resolution to the case.

In these cases, resolution often involves full restitution. Because restitution is so important, a long prison sentence would practically ensure that the victim could not recover their stolen funds. Working with an experienced criminal defense attorney often produces sentences that enable the defendant to make restitution a real possibility.
