A Ventura man faces sex crimes following his arrest earlier this month. The alleged crimes took place 18 years ago. The victim, who is now an adult, was 13 at the time of the assaults. She told police that over the course of a year, the Ventura man assaulted her in his home.

According to the victim, the man lured her to his home under the pretense of hosting a Dungeons and Dragons game and then assaulted her. Detectives who investigated the case found evidence to corroborate the victim’s account. They then sought an arrest warrant, and took the man into custody in his home.
