Police arrived at the scene and found three women in a car. Paramedics transported one woman to the hospital with critical injuries. They transported a second woman with serious injuries and treated a third woman at the scene for minor injuries.
Following the investigation, police identified a Ventura woman as a suspect in the hit-and-run collision. Officers responded to the suspect’s home and found both the driver and the car there. In addition, police discovered that the suspect had a three-year-old child in the car at the time of the crash. The child did not appear to be injured.
Police arrested the driver on suspicion of Drunk Driving, leaving the scene of an injury accident and felony child endangerment. The prosecutor has not yet filed charges in this case.
