Actually Laurie Laughlin’s passport reads Laurie Ayers. But I wanted to keep my professional life as a deception detection specialist separate from my comedic life. Therefore, I have been bringing the funny under the alias Laurie Laughlin.
Enter Lori Loughlin: Former actress, Aunt Becky from Full House, and from the Hallmark Channel.
In early 2019 news hit that Lori Loughlin was accused of bribing University of Southern California officials $500,000 to get her daughter into college there.
Folks on social media didn’t seem to know that I, Laurie Laughlin was not the same person as Lori Loughlin.
Search Laurie Laughlin on Google, and you’ll get pages and pages of results for Lori Loughlin.
While it’s been fun to get all sorts of hate mail and vitriol as the victim of mistaken identity, it hasn’t exactly been beneficial for my career as a motivational humorist (funny keynote speaker) and corporate clean comedian.
Thusly, it’s time to kill off Laurie Laughlin – the Midwest funny lady, not the former actress.
