Our busy and stable Euless, TX client is on the hunt for a contract to possible hire Payroll / HR Assistant.   This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with this outstanding firm.

Payroll / HR Assistant Role:
Responsibilities include:
Set up new employees – telephone, computer and desk, building access card
Handle Pre-employment processing (background check, drug test, profile testing)
New hire orientation (including insurance)
Calculate time cards for payroll and hours worked and put into a spreadsheet/process payroll using ADP
Set up employees in ADP and put in deductions, insurance, 401K, etc.
Enter absences, vacations, etc. in ADP
HR paperwork for new and terminated employees
Process new hire paperwork – data entry into spreadsheets
File information in employee files
Scan documents for electronic filing
Record holiday greeting and set telephone system for holiday calls
Process incoming and outgoing mail
Run occasional errands to the post office, etc.

Payroll / HR Assistant Background Profile:
High School Diploma or equivalent
The Payroll / HR Clerk will be polished and professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an outgoing and friendly personality.
3-5 years’ recent experience in a Payroll / HR Assistant position in an office environment
Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook 
HR and Payroll experience required
Excellent attention to detail skills and high level of accuracy
Able to learn and navigate proprietary software as needed
Able to perform basic math skills – good with numbers
Dependable, with strong organizational and listening skills
Able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities and different tasks each day 
Team player with willingness and desire to do what is needed for the team to be successful
