• Constable (District Cadre) : 1000 Posts
• Constable (Armed Police Cadre) : 800 Posts

Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2024 Pay Scale : 

• Rs. 34680/- plus Allowances

Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria :

• Educational Qualification : 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Education Board/University

Nationality : Indian

Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2024 Age Limit :

Relaxation in age shall be applicable as per Rules

• Minimum age as on January 1st, 2024 – 18 years.
• Maximum age as on January 1st, 2024 – 28 years.

Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2024 Selection Process: 

• Stage-I: Stage-I will consist of two common Computer Based Test (CBT), multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type Paper viz. Paper-I and Paper-II, of which Paper-II shall be qualifying in nature.
• Stage-II: Stage-II will consist of Physical Screening Test (PST) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT). Both Physical Screening Test and Physical Measurement Test shall be qualifying in nature.
• Stage-III: Stage-III will consist of Document Scrutiny.

Punjab Police Constable Physical Standards : 

Candidates should be of the below mentioned minimum prescribed height for being eligible for the posts: All Transgender candidates shall be treated at par with Female candidates in respect of Physical Screening Test and Physical Measurement Test
