Client’s Testimonial:
“Thats great news, thank you for your service during last year!”
On June 6th, 2017, we received another EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) approval for a Petitioner in the Field of Nanophysics (Approval Notice).
General Field: Nanophysics
Position at the Time of Case Filing: N/A
Country of Origin: Iran
Service Center: Nebraska Service Center (NSC)
State of Residence at the Time of Filing: Outside the US
Approval Notice Date: June 6th, 2017
Processing Time: 13 months, 4 days
Case Summary:
With a doctorate in nanoscience and nanotechnology, our client is undoubtedly equipped with the knowledge needed to conduct outstanding work in the Field of nanophysics. The many years that she has spent progressing the field have resulted in 7 publications which collectively, had been cited 147 times at the time of filing.
Not just that, she has made a name for herself as one of the most valuable researchers in the field. According to a prominent associate professor: “[Client] is an indispensable scientist of extraordinary ability in applied nanophysics. With her highly valuable combination of problem-solving abilities and technical prowess, she is more important to the worldwide community of scientists than the majority of nanophysicists.” This statement was taken from the aforementioned professor’s recommendation letter which we incorporated into our client’s EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) petition dossier. He was not alone in his show of support for our client and was joined by four other experts, all of whom volunteered recommendation letters of their own.
Alongside these recommendation letters were details of our client’s work on the optimization of perovskite solar cells. We established that her research results have directly contributed to the development of renewable and sustainable energy sources. Additionally, we informed the USCIS that our client is contributing to the United States’ energy industry and economy by offering cheaper and more efficient ways to harvest solar energy.
Although our client had a strong case, the USCIS issued a Request for Evidence (RFE), to which we promptly responded. We successfully dealt with all hesitations about our client’s credentials and received notification of case approval not long after.
North America Immigration Law Group (NAILG) would like to thank our client for choosing us to represent her case. Now that she has obtained EB-2 NIW approval, she can move on to the final step of the green card process from outside the US: undergoing immigrant visa processing (IVP). We thank her for retaining our IVP services and we look forward to helping her reach the green card finish line.
