The process of rubber molding is almost similar to that of plastic molding. 

The process usually begins with melting of the rubber. The rubber has to be in molten form so that it can be formed into whatever shape one wants it to be done. Once the rubber has been poured out into the mold then it will be cooled to get the product.

Otherwise if heat is not regulated, the final product either ends up too soft or too hard. The flexibility of the rubber is compromised. 

Another challenge is the cooling process. When rubber is not cooled properly, it will form air bubbles. These normally compromise the quality of the final product tremendously. It is thus of great importance to take some time to get the rubber cooled done slowly to avoid the formation of the bubbles.
