Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival

The 11th annual Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival is now a week-long Celebration.  It has grown into a wonderful week of events, at various locations, to showcase local seafood restaurants and their specialties.  Proceeds from ticket sales benefit several local charities and foundations. There was a fishing excursion in the waters off Hilton Head.  A Clay Shooting Tournament was held at Turkey Hill Plantation in Ridgeland.  Both events were followed by scrumptious seafood inspired dinners.  Cooking demonstrations by visiting and local chefs were held at various locations on the island and on the mainland. The largest event of the week was held at Honey Horn Plantation on the Island; Saturday of that week. It was a beautiful day with a clear sky and the temperature was in the 80’s. There were booths and food trucks representing several restaurants from Hilton Head, Bluffton, Beaufort and Charleston. There were thousands of folks attending the event from all over South Carolina and Georgia. They were obviously enjoying the delicious offerings.  Some folks were dancing to the music of Deas-Guyz, a fantastic local band.  Join us next year you’ll have a great time.    Click here for information on next year’s Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival.
