The vessel is the second of three Heritage Class newbuild shuttle tankers to serve in the East Coast of Canada.
Final preparations are now ongoing and the vessel will soon start her long voyage home to St John’s, Canada. Norse Spirit will be joining her sister vessel Beothuk Spirit which took delivery only few weeks ago.

The vessels will provide crude transportation services to the Hibernia, Terra Nova, White Rose and Hebron offshore oil fields located in St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador; and will replace two in-charters and one owned vessel vessel currently servicing this 15-year, plus extension options, contract with a group of companies that includes Chevron Canada, Exxon Mobil, Husky Energy, Mosbacher Operating Ltd., Murphy Oil, Nalcor Energy, Statoil and Suncor Energy.
