About Us:

Spray foam adheres to the materials of a building, sealing the indoor air-space from outdoor air temperature changes. The benefits are enormous:

Lower Heating and Cooling Costs: New Homes that incorporate Spray Foam typically save up to 50% on heating and cooling costs.

Reduced HVAC cost: By reducing the effort required to heat and cool a house Spray Foam insulation allows for lower HVAC "tonnage" and thus reduces the size and cost of a new HVAC system.

Quieter: Spray foam reduces outdoor sounds from entering the home.

More comfort: BioFOAM reduces drafts and airborne particles such as pollen and dust, providing a healthier, more comfortable home.

Value Added: Super-efficient homes installed with spray foam are “value-added,” allowing for higher sale prices.

Durable: BioBased spray foam will not settle or sag, ensuring comfort as the building ages. It is Class-1 Fire Rated, does not support Rot and Mold growth, and is not a food source for rodents or insects

LEED Eligible: Our spray foam is LEED eligible, when incorporated into projects seeking LEED certification.

Additionally, Spray Foam’s increased efficiency allows for a 25% reduction in HVAC size and subsequent savings.

A TAX REBATE may also be available to help offset the initial cost of installing spray-foam in your home or building.

Spray foam adheres to nearly everything, allowing for insulation to fully bond to the building structure:

Walls - both interior and exterior applications

Ceilings - including cathedral ceilings and flat ceiling

Attics - Creates a pleasant, climate controlled storage space

Foundations

Crawl Spaces

Header Spaces - in basement and between floors

Door and windows seal between frames and wall openings

Pipes and Ducts - including those underground

Tubs - for longer, warmer baths.

Swimming pools & Ponds - sprayed as a liner to make swimming pool or pond bottoms.

Metal Structures - super efficient insulation that adds durability

BioFOAM installs two spray foam products, depending on the type of structure to be insulated:

Open Cell Foam: We recommend that stick-frame structures incorporate Biobased 501 spray-foam insulation to ensure superior insulation value and performance.

Closed Cell Foam: A great foam for metal buildings, Biobased 1701 is an effective vapor retarder that is stiff and durable, ideal for sealing punctures in exterior sheathing. The increased rigidity of closed-cell spray foam adds structural stability to the exterior sheething and high durability in areas that are left exposed.

Durability: Biobased 501 and BioBased 1701 adhere to wood, metal, plastic, and everything else used to construct buildings and homes. Once in place, the spray-foam will not detach, sag, or rot.

In order to maximize the efficiency of a spray foam home, it best to equip your home with the following:

  • Proper doors and windows that provide an air tight seal
  • Low E glass is highly recommended, to reduce solar heat gain.
  • Properly sized HVAC system as determined by an HVAC installer familiar with spray foam structures.
