It’s said the property takes its inspiration, and it seems its name, from writer F Scott Fitzgerald. The author was perhaps best known for writing about the Jazz Age, and many of his most famous works were written in the 1920s. The remade, boutique property we now call The Fitz sits in Columbia Heights, and is home to three-dozen condos, which recently hit the market. The condos are now selling and available to buyers interested in owning a slice of history, with a modern twist.
