Mohave Community College celebrates all things hot and spicy with their Hot Havasu Nights Salsa Competition 2021. And they are willing to pay for the best salsa recipe in town. Hot Havasu Nights Salsa Competition 2021
Mohave Community College wants to find out who makes the best salsa in town. They plan on bestowing $50 to the winner in each of three different categories: Green Salsa, Red Salsa, and Other. Then, the salsa voted the best overall wins the grand prize of $250. So, if your salsa wins you raves with your friends and family, you might want to enter this spicy little competition. You could walk away with money in your pocket for your efforts.
What pairs well with great-tasting salsa (besides tortilla chips)? Tacos! La Carcacha parks its truck at our local MCC campus and provides mouth-watering tacos for guests. Then, in keeping with the salsa theme, the Caliente Combo (MCC’s very own Dr. Maria Ayon and Dean Andrew Hollow) performs a special salsa dance for the audience. Finally, a treat for the ears. One Eyed Romero performs their brand of classic rock, country, and the oldies but goodies you know and love live. If you wish to add a little spice to your life or want to share your salsa recipe with others, make plans to attend the Hot Havasu Nights Salsa Competition on Friday, August 27th, 2021 at the Mohave Community College.
