Ripplefold on Pattern: How to use Easyflex

Since we covered how to figure Fabric for Ripplefold draperies last week, I thought we would go a step further and show you our Easyflex product that allows you to “ripple” perfectly on pattern.  We’ve pinch pleated our drapery panels on pattern for years and we all appreciate the custom look. While it has always been possible to create your own ripplefold tape, it is a long and arduous process. With our Easyflex system, rippling on pattern is just that…easy. Before: After: Stretch your fabric! This method works also when you want to stretch your fabric to fit your rod when the supply is limited. I will show you both methods. Remember that this is a special process and you should be up-charging appropriately for materials and labor. I am repeating the fullness chart from last week’s post because it is again, relevant. Notice the spacing between the carriers for each fullness shown. This number will not change. In standard ripplefold tape, the snaps are  spaced 4-1/4″ apart on center.
