U.S. Cutting Tool YTD Consumption down 6.9% in October

October U.S. Cutting Tool consumption totaled $168.99 million according to the U.S. Cutting Tool Institute (USCTI) and AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology. This total, as reported by companies participating in the Cutting Tool Market Report (CTMR) collaboration, was down 1.6% from September’s $171.67 million and 4.7%  when compared with the total of $177.35 million reported for October 2015. With a year-to-date total of $1.698 billion, 2016 is down 6.9% when compared with 2015.
