Green Bay Packaging announced on social media the near completion of its new “super plant” in Fort Worth, Texas this fall.

The new 600,000-square-feet corrugator plant and will replace an older, smaller facility that was built in 1986.

Machine operators at the new plant are training at their sister box plant in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a 555,000-square-feet box facility which opened in 2021 with many of the same converting assets.

The new plant will be equipped with a new 110-inch Fosber corrugator and all new state of-the-art, high-speed flexo folder gluers and die cutters.

GBP’s continued growth and expansions also include the startup and full production of the Green Bay Recycled Paper Mill, a 370,000-square-foot expansion of a state-of-the-art folding carton operation, and doubling the size of its newly acquired Third Dimension sheet plant in Geneva, Ohio.

Other significant expansions include their Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Minneapolis, Minnesota box plants, and the building of a new sales, marketing and distribution center in Downers Grove, Illinois.
