You’ll be awestruck by the sheer beauty of the leaves changing colors and equally captivated by the beauty of these mountains when they’re covered with snow.

Centrally Located

You can drive to many of the major cities in the area within just a few hours. This includes Atlanta, Asheville, Charlotte, Nashville, Birmingham, and Chatanooga. If you love NASCAR, Bristol is just a couple of hours away.

Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are great places to vacation. But they’re just half an hour away from Knoxville.

Cost of Living

It’s not going to cost you an arm and a leg to live in this city. With a metro area of just under a million people, you should have no problems finding housing at a decent price.
