Grand opening set for November as company expansion of 24,000 square foot flagship store nears completion.

Created by in-house graphic designer Brooke Moody, the new visual identity represents the company as modern and evolving, while recognizing a 40+ year presence in the city.

According to Moody, the best logos are instantly recognizable and memorable; simplicity in design and impression was the goal. “The current logo has been in use for about 20 years and as the completion of the new store draws near, we saw this as a great opportunity to give a fresh feel to the whole Bedrooms & More brand. We wanted our branding to have a clean and more modern feel, yet still tell our story as local and family owned” said Moody.

The owners hope the new logo maintains a consistent and familiar feel with the original store located at 300 NE 45th street, less than half a block away from the new building. “The name Bedrooms & More clearly states who we are and what we provide. We want the logo to communicate that our products are essential, reliable, organically and ethically sourced, and above all else, that we are friendly and customer oriented.” said Garfield.

The simple green street sign logo with Luzia font, conjures up a homey, not so fancy feeling, with a reminder that the business is family owned and has been on ‘your’ street since 1972 and provides a friendly impression.

“We feel the logo stays true to our roots as Bedrooms & More starts a new chapter as we expand the business with a new store and more products to offer our community and longtime clients,” said Garfield.
