Qatar Airways: Spend £2,000 or More and get £300 back – Amex targeted offer

The Amex Offers program is a free benefit for eligible American Express cardholders. It allows you to save money or earn extra points on purchases at participating merchants. Offers can be for statement credits, bonus points, or miles.

Qatar Airways is currently targeting some Amex customers with the opportunity to earn £300 back when you spend at least £2,000 on the Qatar Airways website:

• The offer is only available until November 6, 2023.
• And it only applies to flights departing from the United Kingdom
• The £2,000 spend limit can be achieved in a single transaction or cumulatively – as long as it is all spent on the same card.

To see if you’ve been targeted for this offer, you’ll need to log into your online account or use the Amex Mobile app. Once you’ve added the offer, use your enrolled card to make a qualifying purchase during the offer period.

Statement credit will normally be applied automatically to your account within 30 days, although Amex warns that it can sometimes take a full 90 days to appear.

Qatar Airways is a particularly good option for short connections through to popular winter sun destinations from Europe to Thailand, Maldives and South Africa.

Air France: Spend £1,000 or More and Get £150 Back – Amex Targeted Offer

Amex also currently has a targeted offer with Air France, offering £150 statement credit when you spend £1,000 or more on flights booked direct with the airline.

The offers looks like it is only being targeted towards UK-based card holders for flights departing from a UK airport only.

This particular offer is showing up on several different American Express cards, so check all of your cards to see whether you have been targeted for this promotion. Flights must be booked by November 6, 2023.

Save Up To £10 Per Person On Flights Booked Through Trip.com

Online travel agent Trip.com is currently offering the chance to save up to £10 per passenger on flights. This is a slightly more modest saving, but the discount kicks in at a much-reduced threshold:

• Save £5 per person when you spend up to £100 on tickets
• Save £10 per person when you spend more than £100 on tickets

Trip.com reserves the right to end this offer at any time and the savings don’t apply to flights within mainland China.

Save 50% On Ethiopian Flights From Addis Ababa to Mombasa

Ethiopian Airlines has recently increased the frequency of flights between its hub in Addis Ababa and the coastal city of Mombasa in Kenya. To celebrate the increased service, Ethiopian Airlines is offering up to 50% off flights between the two airports.
