Emirates Skywards, the loyalty program of Emirates Airline, is currently offering some exciting but time-limited promotions for its members to earn bonus Skywards Miles. Among the various offers available, one particularly attractive promotion allows travellers to earn up to 15,000 Miles per night on hotel stays.

Earn Bonus Points at 400,000 Skywards Hotels

From June 1 to September 30, 2023, Emirates Skywards members can earn up to 15,000 Bonus Miles per night when booking stays at participating properties through Emirates’ hotel booking portal.

To qualify for this offer, you’ll need to make your booking between June 1 and June 30, 2023, for stays up to 30th September 2023. You’ll earn up to 10,000 Miles per night through this promotion, and then additional points are awarded if you:

• Book before June 30 to earn an additional 2,500 Miles per night
• Book using a co-branded Skywards credit to earn an additional 2,500 Miles per night

Although this promotion is primarily designed to attract people to Dubai during the quieter Summer months, the offer can be used on hotel bookings worldwide.

Bonus Miles are, however, limited to just one booking per customer.

Earn Triple Miles at IHG Hotels & Resorts

IHG One Rewards members can currently earn triple Skywards Miles up to September 30. Simply select Emirates Skywards as your earning preference in your IHG One Rewards account to register for this promotion.

The bonus award is, however, capped at 15,000 Miles, with different earning rates based on the hotel brands and charges incurred during the stay.

You could earn triple Miles on qualifying stays at a wide range of IHG brands, including InterContinental, Kimpton Hotels, Regent, Hualuxe Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, EVEN Hotels, voco, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express, avid Hotels, and Vignette Collection hotels.

The promotion is running on the same dates as the Skywards Hotels promotion between June 1 and September 30, 2023.

Earn up to 10,000 Skywards bonus Miles on Avis car rentals

Skywards members can earn double miles when they rent a car from Avis for a minimum of three consecutive days between June 1 and September 30, 2023.

The first 100 qualified bookings with a minimum six-day rental will also receive an additional 10,000 bonus Miles on top of the double Miles promotion.

Earn up to 8,000 Bonus Miles on Hertz Car Rentals

Hertz is also offering a bonus Miles promotion for Emirates Skywards members. From June 1 to June 30, 2023, members can earn bonus Miles based on the duration of their rental period. The bonus Miles are awarded as follows:

• 1 to 2 days: 2,000 Miles
• 3 to 5 days: 4,000 Miles
• 6 to 10 days: 6,000 Miles
• 11 to 28 days: 8,000 Miles

How much is a Skywards Mile worth

On average, a Skywards Mile is worth around 1 cent. However, the value can increase to 3 cents per Mile when used for Business Class redemptions.

What are typical redemptions for Skywards Miles?

You might mistakenly think that because Emirates isn’t a member of a major global alliance that Skywards Miles can only be spent on redemptions with Emirates and flydubai. That, fortunately, isn’t the case, and the carrier has struck deals with a number of airlines for its members to spend Miles.

Partner airlines include Air Canada, Bangkok Airways, Japan Airlines, Korean Airways and United Airlines.

Most redemptions on partner airlines start with a minimum spend of 8,000 Miles, although Qantas has set a higher minimum spend of 16,000 Miles.

It’s worth noting that jetBlue ended its partnership with Emirates last year, and Skywards Miles can no longer be used for redemptions with jetBlue.
