How do you eat sunshine? Simply by doing your life’s work. Every day, you convert sunshine, water, and dirt into food through your livestock or crops. That food is converted into money and then into the things you need to provide for your family and grow your business. Because you are fed, housed and provided for, you can spend more time turning sunshine into money, and the cycle continues. You may be a rancher or farmer, but what you really are is an expert at converting raw materials into a livelihood. 

What else have you been converting? Time into memories…money into experiences…work into a ranch/farm…relationships into a family…passions into making a difference…and all of these into a legacy?

As MasterCard eloquently put it, things may cost money, but the experiences and relationships enabled by those things are what matter.

They are “Priceless.” 

How do you convert more of your time and money into priceless things? 

– First, you need to define what is priceless to you, Is it family? Legacy? Integrity? 

– Next, ask yourself what gives shape to that thing. If legacy matters most, what does that look like to you? Is it your farm, passed successfully to the third generation? 

– Once you know where you want to be, you can create a plan today to reach that goal. An asset protection strategy can ensure that your farm is there, strong and ready to pass on.
