The first component of a new Daniel Island destination that will eventually be home to the planned Daniel Island Performing Arts Center is now under construction. Daniel Island Square, a four-story building located in the heart of downtown Daniel Island on Island Park Drive, will house Dockery’s, a restaurant and brewery envisioned as a family-friendly destination for food and live music. The building will also be home to office space and a 9,000 square foot covered outdoor patio and community event space for art shows, small musical performances, farmers’ markets and similar events.

Dockery’s is slated to open in the fall of 2017. Meanwhile, fundraising continues for the Daniel Island Performing Arts Center, a theater and performing arts organization dedicated to education, cultivation and the advancement of the performing arts.
