Fabric Yardage Calculator that allows users to input the dimensions of their project and receive an estimate of the amount of fabric needed.
In this calculator, users input the length and width of their project in inches, as well as the pattern repeat and direction (if applicable) and the desired yardage. When the “Calculate” button is clicked, the calculator uses these inputs to estimate the total yardage needed, which is displayed in the “Total Yardage” field. Note that the calculation assumes a fabric width of 36 inches and rounds up to the nearest yard.
