Wardlow, a pro Wrestling star on Aew Dynamite recently spoke with B.J. Lesko of the Akron Beacon Journal on his career:
On wrestling in his home state: “Man, you couldn’t have put any more Pressure on me if you tried".
Wardlow spoke of AEW helping him break out as a star: “Nobody really knew of me before AEW. I wasn’t that well known on the independent scene. I had really just started expanding on the indies when I signed to AEW. They really didn’t know what I was all about.”
On dealing with pressure of performing in AEW: “I thrive on pressure, and I perform my best when they stack the pressure on me”
On getting his break in AEW: “It was kind of like that perfect storm scenario where he (Cody Rhodes) heard my name from three or four people all within a few weeks' span.”
